What can I do w/ my suspension? (upgrades, replace...)

Post by pattywatty23 »

I have a 71 F100 Custom 2wd 302, no power steering/brakes. I was just wondering what I can/should replace in my suspension for a safer, smoother ride. Everything on it right now is stock from 71 except for new tires/rims. Any suggestions on what brands are better quality/performance. :) Thanks!

Check the front end- all the steering components for any looseness; look at the springs, make sure there are none broken.

Other than that, make sure everything's all greased up and if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

:yt: Replace any worn out bushings with new rubber or polyeurethane bushings. New shocks and perhaps a sway bar from a dentside truck.
