i took the printed add of the front end..complete truck-$279.99+tax and $25 core..it was right there on the floor in front of the dumspter and i asked the manager and showed him the printed add..he replied "that only includes the front end fenders,hood,grill,bumper...all in all with 50% off they still wanted $300 so i watched the giant tractor pick it up and drag it to the dumpster to be turned into $20bucks of scrap:x :x :x :x :x ..WHAT A WASTE...

I got my disk brake setup for $60 on craigslist. Definately check craigslist, post a wanted ad, or just look for any dentside f100 being parted out... you'll find something, lower than $600 atleast!

lol
Even better.
Since no one wants my beautiful 2wd chassis, I'm going to part it out, and it has a f350 (same as f250 but i beam pivot bushings are slightly larger and has 1' kingpins) dual piston disc brake front end on it. It has all been stripped and POR-15'd.
Yours for $60 :D
Come get it lol
And yes i am serious, if you want to make a bit of a road trip :D

sometimes you get good deals at pick a part, just depends whos at the counter. I've bought items at one price gone back to buy some of the same and rung up at higher price! Now I take cell phone picks of the price sheets of stuff I may want just in case although you may have better luck finding a CV front end from regular salvage yard. I picked the car, told them what I wanted, they unbolted it and loaded it up for me.

At the local pick ur part there only 2 people I will deal with on big purchases,it all depends on how they right it up.
I have been buying from them for 20 years so employees come and go it is time well spent cultivating relationship with someone :2cents:
