Actually I found a guy who can heat my beams.I am going to give that a try before I buy the dream beams.

Heating them will change the material properties of the beams.

:yt: Do NOT heat those beams...they have to be cold-bent. It even says so in the factory shop manual. Here are the pages which show how it's supposed to be done:

It looks great! I'm in the same boat, no money but really want to lower my truck I just picked up today(71 Ranger XLT long bed). Sorry for the dump question but what exactly did you use to get your truck like that?
