Spool'd, now i got wheel hop.
Well, i put a mini spool in the rear end of my ol' ford, and now i have pretty bad wheel hop when i spin the tires. I've decided theres two routes for me to go.
Route 1 : traction/anti-hop bars.

Route 2: build a ladder bar setup. (upper and lower bars/axle mount, 1 solid/non adjustable frame mount)
Which of the two would be more effective?

I would say the ladder bars.
Careful with a spool & 28 spline axels. I hear they dont get along that well.

Well I put shocks on the back, that toned it down alot. I've only had it in the rain after the shocks, and wheel hop is not as noticable.
I talked to a guy at a local parts store, and he basically explained to me all the types of ladder bars and traction bars and the like. I think i might go with the "slapper" bars like lakewood sells since i dont have very much wheel hop anymore.

Might as well give it a try. It cant hurt anything. Only problem is they say for use with under-axle springs. I think the bump springs are on top of the axle, unless you flipped them. You might look into it.
Are you going with the chrome or yellow slappers? I think they come in black also, but im not sure.

Yep, i forgot to mention that i lowered it.
Im not sure which one im gonna go with. Yellows probably gonna look funny, and chrome would look out of place too i think.
Someone else give me an opinion. heres the truck.

They are just made of squair tube. The brackets look like 1/4" plate to me. If you could get the dimensions, it would be a snap.
