I beam selection

Post by festus »

Who has the best lowering I-beams? I am getting ready to start the parts ordering process and I would to get some feed back. DJM, Belltech and AIM all have lowering I-beams available. Who has the best and easiest to work with. At this point cost is not an issue. I am lowering a 1968 F100 and I will be using 1978 F150 donor spindles. All the info I get will be greatly appreciated

festus,

there's another thing we failed to tell you, aims industries is another company that sales lowering beams for our trucks. a good detail you may or may not know about their beams is that they are a inch or so longer than the djm's, so you would end up with a wider track width in the front compared to the djm's.being that these trucks already have a wider front track width from the factory makes the aim's beams a little less desirable choice. i don't know witch one's you'll end up going with but this is good info to have in helping you make a decision.

good luck and please keep us updated on your progress.
