flex o matic rear
hey I was wondering if we had any info on the flexomatic rear set up on some of these trucks.. I know it was optional..least I think so, and I was just curious about the pros and cons of it.

Re: flex o matic rear
Seems like at one time I asked the same question and was told all F-250s came with the flex-o-matic rear springs.

they are supposed to give a smoother ride unloaded while being able to handle the heavier loads of a stiffer spring. the only downside i saw was that you can't use drip shackles on rear to lower your truck. other than that, i don't the=ink there is a down side.

Re: flex o matic rear
they must have started the flex-o-matic rear end around 68-69 cause my 67 f250 doesnt have them. My 70 f100 with only a 4500 gvw has the flex-o-matic though
