I thought I had posted in this thread earier but I dont see it now, woops.
I put a 2007 crown vic front suspension in my 67 f100 short bed and absolutely love it. I cant beleive the ride, its alot like a 2007 crown vic

I had tons of people tell me not to put that suspension in my truck and that the i beams were the greatest thing since sliced bread, while the ibeams may be a tuff suspension I am not impressed with them (just my opinion ibeam lovers, sorry

) I am however highly impressed with the way the new suspension handles and drives. I have nothing but good to say about the modern ride and handling thanks to the 12" disc brakes, rack and pinion steering, and large sway bars plus it was almost a bolt in affair and all for the small fee of $350 for the complete unit with less than 15,000 miles on it. I love it and it seems to be supporting my 785 pound little diesel engine just fine.
With that said, I dont think I would feel comfortable trying to really abuse this as a truck like hauling lage loads every day ( the ocassional boat or trailer load every once in a while, ok) or going off roading but I have a 3/4 ton truck for that so I built this as a daily driver and I am more than confident that it will do great for cruising up and down the highway or around town. I say go with what you like.
