mc brake lines

mc brake lines
The brake lines coming off my mc, the curly ones have a clip on bracket right in the middle of the run but i don't see where it would bolt to. Anyone know.

From what I've seen, there's a bracket attached to the lines that bolts to the top of the steering box... unless your prop valve is already mounted there.
PO took it loose on my 72 and I could never get it to bolt back on properly... just there as vibration damper for the lines.

That's what i though from pics iv'e seen. My steering box has been changed from bendix manual to saginaw power. There is a brachet on steering box but no way i could get lines to stretch to reach it. I will just leave it alone.
Previous box must have sat a lot closer to lines.
