My '68 F-100 has drum brakes all around....no power assist. About a year ago I had the brakes pretty much reworked, including a new master cylinder. They put a master cylinder with a larger reservoir in the back (for the front brakes). Since I have drum brakes all around, can I expect any problems running a master cylinder that is designed for disc brakes up front?

I don't really care about brands Chevy Ford Dodge ...as long as it doesn't sound like two old dudes farting in a coffee can.

re: Master Cylinder Question
I just put a new master cylinder on my 69 Highboy with Drum-Drum and it also has a bigger reservoir on the back side (front brakes) then the front... (the old one that was on it was the same way) I think the manufactures now days are just using the same reservoir casting (saving money) for both systems and just removing the residual valves in the ones for the disc setups...

I'm not "Brand Loyal" Ford-Chevy-Dodge-Toyota I have them all, one even cross mixed...
If it Looks good and Works good then it's ok by me. Everything has its issues from time to time...

Good to know. One less thing to worry about.
