Independent rear suspension-Corvette

Does anyone know if the Corvette IRS kits will work on my '68 Custom? If not, do you know what will? Any help would be great.

Why not t-bird, Mustang Cobra, mark VIII? There's a lot more of them out there vs the vette parts. And it's Ford
Have it in my Cobra-

I would keep it all FORD and select a setup that's not going to cost a lot to buy. Check out this web site. http://team321.com/truckirs/truckirs.html

marz68, thanks for the great info. I should be able to locate a donor rearend without much problem. I'm in the process of a complete frame off restoration and want to do it right the first time.

your welcome!
I had a t-bird rear for my truck ready to go but changed my mind and went with a lincoln 8.8 rear.
Now that I see how cool it would be to have IRS I wish I still had that T-Bird IRS

Seems like all the parts I'm looking for are way up north somewhere!
Must be like heaven up there!
