PST Pivot Arm Bushings - Is this right?

Post by Chasbod »

I think this is pretty straightforward but I just want to make sure before I bolt it up. Does the extra ring slide over the bushing and bump up against the head?

Nope, once the bushing is installed the ring goes over the excess thats hangs out from the I-beam. Press the bushings in just like the one on the top in your picture. Then once it is installed you will have a lip sticking through, thats where you install the ring just before sliding it into the cross member.

Does that make sense?

Ahhh, I think I understand kemosabe. So it will go over the small end sticking out of the metal housing. I don't mess with the big end?

Thanks!
