Front drums
I ordered new front drums for my 2 wheel drive 1967 ford f100 and when they came they where the drums for the back and the guy claims that they are for the front. Does anyone have a picture of a front drum that I can show him?

i think i heard that the front drum comes off of the front hub. so it could be you have the right thing but there is a difference in how they look. i don't have any pics though. maybe there are some in the photo galleries or the project updates. maybe kisth has some pics in his first few pages of his project but i don't remember seeing any in there.

re: Front drums
Yea,I think the drums actually can be removed from the hub,but I've never tried.I think the front drums are a little wider than the back, but I'm not sure about that either.

re: Front drums
The Front drums are about 3/4 inches wider IIRC.

re: Front drums
my 67 f250 2wd the drum does come off the hub. there are or were 2 or 3 flat blade screws holding the drum to the hub, i still have the oe screws on mine. but the front drums do look similar to the rears.

re: Front drums
i got some pics for you the first one is from a 69 and the second is from a 70 both f100. you can see the groove in the one for the 69 the 70 drum doesn't have that groove.

Most times you have to knock the pressed in wheel studs out to get the
drums off the hub. Press/hammer&brass drift. Goes together the same way. Then they need to be turned.

FYI: Make sure that the studs aren't swaged.
They shouldn't be but it would be a good thing to check for if you having a rough time separating them apart.

re: Front drums
If you want to be able to get the drums off easily next time, ream out the stud holes a little until they are just a hair bigger than the studs. The you can slip the drum over the studs and not have to have it pressed on.
