Amazon carb throttle to trapeze
Autolite 2150 off Amazon seen here. I’ve connected my throttle return spring to the round knob near the green line. I think the red line is pointing to the larger part where I hook to the trapeze. What do folks use for this bit? I fashioned a rod out of copper pipe, but I’m not happy with it. Is there a standard connection? What’s it called?

It's hard to tell from that picture but you may have them reversed.
The small ball is used for a lot of throttle connections but a rod with a 90 degree bend can go in any of the other holes too.
and the spring can hook to any location in front or back as long as doesn't bind on anything.

Re: Amazon carb throttle to trapeze
So I’ve seen a connection to the ball knob (green) like the picture below. Is that hardware at the auto parts store or a big box like Home Depot? I don’t even know what it’s called.
So the spring I have forward (radiator fan side) of the carb should go the the lower spinner (red)?
Thanks for any help.
