Missing Swing Lock Western Mirrors Jr. locking mechanism

Hi guys,

did not find an answer by searching...

I have Swing Lock Western Mirrors Jr. (Type 2 with two legs, stamped with oval Ford Logo) according to the Marti Report which are still on the truck. But it seems that they are missing the swing lock type hardware.

Could this hardware be find? Has anybody the hardware left?

This function would be practical for me because of the narrow garage. Otherwise I had to re-ajust the mirros every time I leave the garage...

I don’t know if it helps you but there are some pictures in my thread that might help you.

I think you could make this hardware if you could figure out exactly how it works.

I'm reproducing the swing lock washers now if you need a set.
