Replacing Tie Rods and Sway Bar End Links on a Crown Victoria IFS - Aftermarket or FoMoCo?

Post by Aerocoupe »

I had to sawzall one of the outer tie rods on my CV IFS to get it separated from the spindle so now I am going to replace both outer tie rods as well as the sway bar end links (salvage yard cut one of these in half and I did not catch it). Rock Auto has the MOOG parts for about $30 each and has the FoMoCo parts for about $50 each. So I am looking at $120 or $200 and I am not one to be cheap but with all the issues with aftermarket parts lately I did not know if anyone here has already done this and if so what brand did you buy and what are your impressions so far?

Also, I typically like to buy from my local parts stores but they all want $55 each for the MOOG parts and that is just too much difference to not buy from Rock Auto.
