Hole in the floor repair.........

I have a rust hole on the right side of the truck bed beside the cab. The hole is about the size of a good size hand. my tool box is sitting over it so you cant see it. could you bondo it and then have a rino lining sprayed over it or would that be to weak? Any sugestions.

Bondo is a bad idea on stuff like that. You can rivet in a new piece or even weld in a new piece, but I really wouldn't trust spackle if you know what I mean.
