repairing hood

Post by jimmy828 »

Thought i would try my luck at repairing the hood on my 69. I'm not much of a welder but i think it will be ok once the body filler is on. I thought this repair over before i got started and i decided to do the repair in about 6 inch increments hoping that i would not lose the contour of hood. The last piece was about 8 inches long. I'm still working on this hood and will post pics when done. Here is a before and after pic of hood.
