parts interchangability 68 and 79 F250

anyone know what parts i can swap from the 79 to the 68? like brake lines, brake drums, shocks, etc etc

well the 79 is 4wd the 68 is 2wd so i know none of the front end stuff will work. mainly if the brake line are the same since i put stainless hard lines on the 79 and all new drum brake parts. both trucks have D60 rears but im not sure on the width of the shoes on the 68s or if the shock front and rear are the same for both trucks or not

for the brake lines. measure them on both trucks. they will probably fit the 68 but may be a slight bit longer. so the line wont fit as tight to the rear as the 79 does. for the shock interchange go to autozone and look up both trucks as search for shocks. it will give part numbers for each truck if they are the same then they will fit. if not there ios a difference of some sort.
