front wheel bearings

Post by cozadlance2 »

getting ready to do the dana 60 on my F250 and it ocurred to me that the fronts could stand repacking as well. Anything special I should know before I do that end? Thanks. Didn't find anything scary looking from searching, but just wanted to check in with the greater knowledge base just in case.

just pack both of them inner and outer on both sides of the truck. make sure to get the frotn nut tight enough by spiining the wheel and tightneing until it drags. then back it off until the keeper nut lines up with the kotter pin hole.
