the donor truck was at a wrecking yard and no valve was there so now I need to find one. The brake doesn't work due to when the installed the dump bead the cut the cable and just tied it out of the way. The line lock was on the truck when I bought it.

i bet that 4wd is the same as 2wd. and you just need a 73-79 proportioning valve. for the cable i would get anohter one.

80's ford trucks are plentiful in yards, the prop valves work fine and are newer than the 70's stuff.

thanks I'll start looking for them. Do you know where I might find replacement parking brake parts?

measure the cut off cable. since your truck is a possible mix of two era's trucks that is probably the best way to figure it out.

theres no possible about it. it is a mix of 2 eras I have a 1975 chassis with a 1970 cab. I was checking as to where the best place to get the parts for the parking brake that I do need.
