Re: lowering a 2wd F250
I'm trying to do the same thing...you can cut a couple of coils up front for a couple of inches and although a few may say you shouldn't there are a few on here that have done it. I went ahead and ordered the DJM dream beams (got em today) as they are supposed be the same size kingpin as the F100....I checked several online parts suppliers and the parts numbers match between the two.....I, like you also want to change it over to a 5 lug front and rear, not only for wheels but the rear axle hub is freaking ugly......I'm currently in search of F100 front end parts before I install my new beams, if you want a steel wheel look with baby moon covers VIntique Wheels now make them in 8 lug from 6-10" wide. Good luck I'll try to update my results in a few weeks.

Re: lowering a 2wd F250
yeah i mean you could do a front disk conversion and throw a 9 or 8.8 inch out back i suppose, but the d60 is a tough rear to beat
and thanks ill be following it
