Doing a disk brake conversion, how do I bleed brakes?

Post by heavyd1701 »

I have the parts to do a disk brake conversion. I have a 72 F100 and the donar truck is a 75 F100. I also plan to do a hydroboost conversion as well, working with a guy on ebay for that. I curently have a regular brake setup no boost of any kind. I will be replacing master cylinder, calipers, brake lines and port. valve. What is the best way to bleed the air out of the system? Thanks for any help.

start from the far rt rear wheel then go to the driver side rear then to the front pass side the last the front driver side one
with a friend in the driver seat and u on the brakes have him pump the brakes like 5 to 10 times and hold on the last pump
then with a one foot or more hose on the bleeder valve going in a jar or can or?
open the bleeder valve to let the air out some fluid will come out to do this in tell u see no more air come out then move to the next wheel and do the same there and so on
keep an eye on the master that it has fluid in it as u don't want it to get to low or dry and then let air back in then you are back to doing it again

they make a nice bleeder tool (theres a few out there to pick from)that u can buy as well and u can do it alone
