67 f250 powersteering conversion
Howdy, New to this forum. I'm off to the junk yard for the power steering conversion parts with the list off the Tech Section . My truck is a F250 camper special with a 352 with automatic transmission. I live 50+ miles from the yard that says he has all the parts, so I'm going to try to make this the only trip down there. Any problems that any of you folks encountered or advice you could offer would be greatly appreciated. This truck is the only new truck my dad ever bought and he always said this was one thing he wished he had on it. I will be working alone. Thanks, jbrd

Congrats on keeping your Dad's truck. I too have my Dad's 1969 F-250 and it was the only new vehicle he ever owned. I've had it 34 years!
Your post didn't mention if you have to take the parts off the donor truck but hopefully that's the case because you can remove the necessary bolts, brackets, clips, etc to put back on your truck. I converted mine to PS as well and it's pretty straightforward. Make sure you get the pitman arm as it is different from a manual steering truck.
I'm not sure if your truck has AC but if it doesn't, there is a small bushing that mounts behind the pump bracket to head. This was used in lieu of the AC compressor bracket so that proper alignment is ensured.
Just be extra careful to remove all the items so that you can reinstall in your truck.
The only other suggestion would be a pickle fork to remove the pitman arm from the center link. Everything else should simply unbolt.

Take your time on everything and double check your work when reinstalling.
