I have a 69 f250 camper special with front disc brakes and am having a hard time finding the right kits for the calipers. the internal piston seals are wrong on the kit the book calls for and the and the outer dust seals are wrong on the kits for a 73 but the inner seals are correct. Any ideas?

The Ford P/N is C8TZ 2120-A, which is listed to fit 68-71 F250 (4x2) and F350 "Before S/N M80,001"
The kit contains (2) C8TA 2B115-A Seal, (2) C8TA 2207-B Boot and (2) C8TA 2B332-B Retainer. You will need one kit per side.
Green Sales has 41 in stock, and they're probably the most reasonable as far as price. You can contact them at (800) 543-4959.
Now, with that being said, if the calipers came from a different model truck, it's hard to say what is going to fit, but I'd suggest trying this route first.
If someone swapped on calipers from a 72, that takes a D2TZ 2120-A, which has (2) D3TA 2B115-AB Seal and (2) D3TA 2207-AA Boot. Notice that the earlier kit contains two retainers for the dust boots, while the 72 model does not have those. That is also the correct P/N for 73-75 F250-F350.
One other possible way to identify which kits you need, and that is to have the casting number from the caliper. It should probably be either 69710228, 69710294 or 69710308 if you have the correct calipers on the truck.

Why is it that there's seldom time to fix it right the first time, but there's always time to fix it right the second time???
That's not an oil leak

Re: disc brakes on a 69 f250
Thanks for the info. I purchased a kit from NAPA that was suppose to to be the right kit but the seals were to small in diameter and way to wide but the boots and retainers were right. exchanged those for a kit for a 73-79 and the seals are correct but the boots are not and there were no retainers. the calipers seem to be correct. looked on schematic site and there is a difference in the piston configuration between the years. I just wonder if the bore is the same in the caliper and they swapped pistons into the 69 from a later year truck
