anyone know the tensile strength of a 72' F350 frame?

It's probably A36, A36 has a tensile strength from 58,000 to 80,000 PSI.

I would actually bet its either ASTM 1020 (people commonly call it A36 but I don't start the train without a jerk)or possibly 1026.

Most stuff that I have broke that is called 1020 or A36 typically yields around 45-50kSI and has an ultimate around 60-75kSI.

To find out for sure you can find a metallurgist to grind it for you if you are really really worried about it. Otherwise I would probably get some 1026 and call it good. It will weld just fine to either 1020 or 1026.
