saginaw ps box modification

has anyone ever took the front nose of fof the saginaw ps box box and turned it 90 degrees and botled it back on? it looks liek it might be able to be done from both outside and maybe the inside from what i saw in the diagram? if you havent done it can it be doen and work? http://www.fordification.com/tech/image ... dPSbox.jpg

No, that won't work.

If you'll notice on the input housing, there's an oil passage at the top.
