Need help: Will 1984 brake booster work on 1971 f100.

i seen one from a 90's truck put onto one of our trucks. it isnt on there safely. that is for sure. they drilled new holes int he firewall and brake bracket and put it in. but the problem is that the brake rod is a half moon. it is not a rod with a hole in it. so it cant be botled to the pedal. you have to rig it up and then it can still fall off the brake pedal and then you will have no brakes.

Check ebay or your local pull-a-part.
A booster from any Ford F100-F350 from 68 to 77 will be a bolt-in.

its kind of funny. last week there was a booster with brackets and master on ebay and no one even bought it at 20.00.
