steering wheel horn ground

Post by thebannister8 »

my steering wheel has what appears to be a home made ground...i couldn't find any info of what inserts into the little tube...might anyone have a picture of the stock part...the outer casing is stock...the inside wire looks like a piece of fashioned wire...thanks

thanks for the info keith...the confusion with me is that looking at the schematic i see part number 13a821 pictured right above corresponding part number 13a822...13a822 being the little tube...the schematic also puts the 13a821 in general line with part number 13341 ( the turn signal switch )...seems entirely explanatory in the schematic that part 13a821 goes into 13a822...my part number 13a821 however is currently in use in part number 13341...and seeing only one part number 13a821in the shcematic became a head scratcher...let me change the question then... does the set-up call for two part number 13a821 pieces or in the picture i've included of my old turn signal switch does something else go in the tube of part number 13341...thanks

also as a side question...i've been looking at the net for the part and there are different types of this part...i'm wondering if anybody has the complete part number for a 67 f100 2 wheel drive 3 speed...there are generally 4 numbers and/or letters before 13a821 and 1 or 2 after
