Wheel Backset?

Hey guys! I've got a 67 shortbox styleside with the 77 disc brake front end. I just wondered what you all think the ideal wheel backset is. I think I'm going with US Wheel chrome smoothies in 15X8. Looks like 3.5 or 4" backset is what they stock. I value, and appreciate your opinions. Thanks a lot! Brett

Brett im trying to figure out the same thing. I know i can get the smoothies in a 5x5.5 pattern but im needing some adapters for another set of wheels. I measured from my hub to the inner fender wells and it s around 6.00". I have some 15x8's on one truck and it has a 4.00" backspace and they fit just fine , even with it lowered. I hope this helps.
