Lowering the rear end.

Post by RTG_RACING »

I have seen where people take the overload spring out of the rear spring pack to lower it a bit. I also hear this makes the rear spring sag. Is it possible to remove a spring from the middle of the pack to lower the read about an inch or so?

yes you can do that. or both. it depends on how many springs you have in the pack if it will sag them or not. a 5 pack of springs could have 1 removed without problems i would think.

Ive pulled overloads out of lots of trucks over the years and never had a sagging problem, and a 1/2 inch to inch
would be a good number to expect pulling the overload.
