Exploer IRS
Has anyone looked into the Explorer IRS setup as a swap?

Re: Exploer IRS
Not for a bump specifically, but I have used the Explorer setup several times now. Most recently on a trike.
I actually prefer it. I like the mounting method MUCH better than on most others. In fact the stang setup I last used got an explorer rear cover for mounting reasons.
Easy to align, easy to setup angle. However, I've only used the complete suspension once. All others, I just maintained the geometry and fabbed to my liking. Pretty much limitless to ideas if you take the time to think it out, sketch it and sit the papers down for a few days. Odds are when you pick them back up, you'll have thought of things that you didn't the first time around.

not sure how close it is to the explorer rear but i like my thunderbird irs. i just modified the factory cradle and made it bolt to my new frame. had i had more time i wouldhave just used the parts and made my own mounts off the frame.
