Steering column

Post by DerekS »

I'm taking my body off my 2wd and putting it on a 4wd frame and have not been able to find a steering column for a 4wd. I have a good solid column in my truck now so my question if I can modify the flange to use or if anyone has done this. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sure, you can modify it, but I think I'd post an ad in the Parts Wanted section of the Classifieds here on the site first and see what turns up. It'll save you from a lot of unneeded work trying to reinvent the wheel. All you really need is the main shaft...the column housing itself is the same.
