coil springs

Post by R.Smith »

I'm getting ready to replace the coil springs on my 70 CS. I've never replaced a spring before so if anybody has some helpful hints before I start I'd appreciate it. Also, I'm planning on just using stock replacements, unless there's some benefit to getting a stiffer spring. My truck is a 2WD model that I drive daily.

Thanks

just make sure to get them on the right sides of the truck. they should be for left and right.

that was done because of the offset of the engine to the passenger side to make room fo rthe steering box. i would think if that were the correct story. the aussie trucks would be offset on the drivers side instead of the passenger side like ours are.
