power steering engine stand

will the engine stand from a 79 with a302 fit on my 68 to make room for the power steering box? my truck has a 390

what happened to my post? if you use them in pairs yes you could do it. but it will effect your driveshaft angle a slight. and could cause premature wear on your driveshaft and u joints.

You don't need 302 stands....you need the correct FE stands. Don't jury-rig something....do it right the first time.

Thanks guys . I have not started to take these trucks apart and the stands look the same. I will hit the salvage yard .
