Go read in the tech/tutorial section and post back after you have read them.

When you were pulling the pumps, why didn't you pull the brackets? Its an FE engine, go find the brackets.
65 f-100 SWB, 240 I6, T-18, now swapped to C4 with difficulty. Yeah, I know. Its a 67-72 site. But my frame and entire drive train are just like yours!!!!

If you do not have the firewall flange bracket for the power steering I will swap you one for your manual steering one.The one you need has"Power Streerng" stamped into it. It makes the column come out of the firewall higher up to meet the power box.

there are only two different bracket for the fe enigne. one is made up into 1970 and the other is made after or mid 1970 and up. if you have a small block engine you need the brackets from a small block engine. the column lenghts are as follows. the bendix steerign box requires the old type manual lenght column. which means you dont have to change your column just adjust it to fit via the botls under the dash. the saginaw steering box requires the shorter column. get the column out of the truck you took the steerign boxes out of.
