I'm trying to change out my brake cylinders and master cylinder but I'm having a problem with the brake line fittings. They are stuck because of rust and i'm afraid that if I pull on them too much or get to forceful they will crack and i'll have even more of a problem. I've tried vice grips and a brake line tool but I can't get the fitting to turn without trying to round out. I've even soaked it for a few days in liquid wrench. Any tricks or tips would be appreciated!
thanks

Re: Brake lines on brake cylinder 72 F100 drum
get your vise grips titgther on the nut. it will chew it up but it will still turn out and back in. although i have had lines that turned the not and twisted off the line because the line was rusted to the inside of the nut. you may have to end up just replacing the lines as well.
