What am i gonna need?
So here is the story. My little brother in law is a LT in the Army. He is Letting me baby sit the 67 f100 while he is away in Germany and parts unknown throughout the globe for the next couple of years. he wants power brakes but is not too interested in the disk set up. What do i need to make this 67 basic model shortbed have power brakes with the current drum set up. Just has the 240 inline 6 with the single carb. BTW he is just the second owner of this truck. Any information as to brackets, boosters, and mc for the 67 would be very appeciated.

you need the booster brackets. anything up to 77 1/2 will bolt on a 67 booster. you will also need the 67 only booster. the 67 only booster has a sligthly shorter rod that only fits and works with the 67 brake pedal and brake light switch.

Good luck on your conversion. I couldn't imagine stopping one of these trucks with non power brakes!

and it has the 4.6 in it and maybe I added an K&N cold air breather and catback dual exaust

Just razzin ya though, its great to get that kind of milage out of a full size truck and I really hate seeing all these little gas saving death traps on the road anyways

I've had enough and I'm not alone

This is the greatest site for these trucks. Keith was a genius when he started it. Oh, and as for stopping these trucks without power breakes, it ain't as bad as everyone thinks. I stop my 72 swb just fine. The drums are what I don't care for. I have to adjust them too much, because the self adjusters suck on mine. Anyways, good luck on the swap.
