I OWN A 1972 FORD F100 AND I AM GETTING A 351 ENGINE INSTALL OUT OF A 1977 LTD................THE CAR IS RUNNING PERFECT.........MY QUESTION IS, WHAT OTHER PARTS CAN I USE FROM THE CAR TO THE TRUCK? CAN I USE ALL THE POWER BRAKES, & STEERING OUT OF THE CAR OR NOT? AND LIKE THE RADIATOR ALSO?
PLEASE HELP I THINK THE MECHANIC IS STILLING FROM ME.........BECAUSE HE SAYS THAT THE ENGINE & TRANNY IS THE ONLY THINGS CAN BE USE.........
WHAT CAN, AND WHAT CAN'T BE USE?

First of all, please turn off your CAPS LOCK button before posting. Posting in all caps gives the appearance of shouting...plus it makes a post difficult to read.
Anyway, your mechanic is right...the engine and transmission are about the only things that will fit your truck. The steering components are totally different and can't be adapted, as are the front brakes. Since that car should have a 9" rearend, you might be able to salvage the rear brakes and pumpkin, but the axles will be longer and there might be a difference in axle spline count...your truck should have 28-spline axles and the car might have 31-spline. Since you're unlikely to find 31-spline axles to fit your truck's rearend housing, you might want to do a quick check before removing the pumpkin.
The radiator might be adapted to fit, but I'd suggest just getting the correct radiator and not jury-rigging something together.

77 ltd = tuna boat sell the car as is running and get a engine already pulled out. that engine has too much smog junk on it / in it.
