I have a 1969 f100 2wd I bought the truck with front and rear air bags they c notched the rear frame rails and installed the leafs under the rear axle in the front it seems they removed the coil springs put in buckets with bags. I love the way it sits but the ride and handling is for @#%&*#. I called the company that installed it 10-15 years ago and they said that's the price you pay to be low and have air bags. I don't buy it! with an answer like that I can't believe there still in business.
I live in chatsworth california north/west of LA does anyone know of a good suspension shop or have any thoughts? it has a 460 with a top loader 4sp for motor and trans maybe 4 link rear and bent I beams?
thanks

Re: air ride 69
maybe the ride is stiff cause the bags are inflated to the max to achieve ride height? Some times air acumulators help soften the ride.
I usually drive low with less psi and get a great ride with very little negative camber.
I live in northridge on tampa and saticoy maybe wana drop by i'll take a look at your suspension. I can show you the suspension im working on for these truck.

Pics would be helpful. Also, brand and/or model of your parts would be helpful.
So in the rear they flipped the leafs under the axle, and you have bags..... is it monoleafed?
Are you running shocks in the front?
Side note....
marz68, the pic you've got looks awesome. Any more?
