I would like to "lift" my two wheel drive F350 Flatbed, so it dosen't look like a u-haul. It is a 1972 F350 with automatic and a 300 6cyl. I was thinking of using springs from same truck but with a 460. My question is can my I-Beams be bent enough to get may camber correct? Has anyone evere tried this?
Thanks in advance Scott

Re: F350 front coil spring question
Your truck probably looks like it does because your front springs are worn out. Replacing the springs will get the ride height back up to stock. The truck will sit much nicer and the camber will likely be back to the way it was when the truck was new. New coils helped my F350 sit much better. Now I have to get the rears re-arched to level the truck.

Re: F350 front coil spring question
Do you have any pictures of your F350 Flatbed? Is it a DRW? Does it have the Ford factory bed?

Re: F350 front coil spring question
Here it is. My daughters named it "The Rolling Turd" I guess the name fits but I like it anyway. I am in the middle of a cab and front clip swap so this is the before picture.
Thanks for looking Scott

Re: F350 front coil spring question
Nice Flatbed. That's the long wheelbase, like two-bit's truck. Nice to see another F350 here.
