disc or drum

Im just getting started on my 71 f100 2 wheel drive and it needs new brakes on every corner.It also looks like the drums are bad as well.So my question is is it that much more expensive to go disks in the front and what years if any will bolt up. Or is there inexpensive drum kits out there and where should i look to find them?

if you want to fix your drum brakes try the local parts store first for the parts. if they dont have them check the links page on this site. as far as disc brakes did you read all three pages of this yet? http://www.fordification.com/discbrakes01.htm
