I would be interested in a set of those brackets and the info on installing the 2 extra shocks!

im interested as well. i think two shocks on my F-150 could really improve its behavior under load (which is most of the time because i do construction).

Yeah, good shocks like Rancho 5000's or doubled up regular shocks are cool. :)
BTDT :)
...but they ain't a replacement for stiff springs! :)
Do you know it?

Question. :/
We talkin about a 2wd or 4wd here? :/

Why two more shocks? Sounds like you have other issues going on if you think this will fix something.

Weird sounding to ya, huh? ;)
Back in the "old days" it wasn't uncommon. :)

For me it was dual shocks all around because my pickup
would dance sideways on dirt roads without 'em! :/

Original wimpy springs or my new "lumber wagon springs"
both were the same. :/

It was just something Ford Twin-I-beams do. The 2wd
Ford "company trucks" did the same. 2wd Chevys didn't. :/

The 4wd company trucks weren't on districts/areas that
had straight stretches of high speed dirt roads, so never
learned how 4wd's handled 'em. {shrug}

i have never seen the bottom brackets but i bet you could get some from a dentsdie and flip sides withhtem and they would bolt in tandem with your other shocks. buti am guessing. as far as the tops. i ahve seen some frames that don't have the dual shock holes and some that do. drill them out wouldn't be the big of a deal if you had the right drill bit.
