I’ve taken over working on this truck as my dad doesnt really want it anymore. He thinks he paid $100 or maybe just a six pack sometime in 1996. He thought we could re-sell it and make a quick buck. This is the only picture I could find taken by an old Polaroid but you get the idea. It didn’t run and was full of trash. But it had something very important, a title, which I just transferred into my name.

We rebuilt the old 360 back then and we've probably put less than 100 miles on it so far. Over the years most of the rust was cut out and repaired, including floor and cab mounts, nothing fancy plus a few odds and ends.
Fast forward a decade or so and this is what it looks like. It still has a few rust spots, engine still fires up but not a straight body panel in sight.

At first I wasn't too interested in this as it was a longbed and I've always preferred the sportiness of shortbeds. Saw guys doing lwb to swb conversions and thought why not? As you can see it wasn't in the best of shape anyways, the free paint job from a few years ago was already peeling, plus the guy used too much bondo.
