Newby from downunder
Greetings all!
Accidentally found this site whilst looking for some info.
I'm in a lil town called Waikerie, on the Murray River in South Australia.
I have a 1969 F350, ex Tow Truck acquired by accident ... literally. I sold my weedspray business to a bloke, and he needed a truck to tow the equipment. I'd seen this truck, and called him up. He said "sounds good". Eight months later, He died in a car accident, still owing a few bucks for repair and service work on the equipment, so I agreed to take the truck back off the estate in lieu of payment.
It's fitted with the big block 240 cube six, old 4 speed box and the ole' duals on back.
Starts second or third try, every time, whether I last drove it yesterday, or a month ago. Don't use it much tho, too many other projects, but it's getting closer. Gotta do some work on the brakes, lose all the tow gantry, winch etc, plus all the signage painted all over it.

Welcome aboard good to see another South Australian here
I'm in adelaide, (northern suburbs), with a '71 F350
I'm interested in the gear off the back of your truck (especially the winch) if you want it gone.
cheers,
Phil

Here she be!
(Photo edited to cover the signage) ... no free advertising from me
Still runs good. Used 'er this morning to drag a couple wrecks around
but ... I can't think of anything more I need it for at this stage ... so it might just get sold yet ...
