1967 Ford f100 thermostat

Post by mbryson12 »

Where is the location of the thermostat on a 1967 ford f100? My truck keeps overheating and I believe the thermostat is stuck and needs to be replaced. Any suggestions?

:wel: to the site.

Follow the top radiator hose to the engine. The housing that the rad hose connects to is where the thermostat is located. Drain fluid from draincock on bottom of the radiator, undo the two bolts on the thermostate housing and lift housing.

Don't overtighten those bolts when you put it back together!
