
headers really close to PS box

headers really close to PS box
just installed hedman headers and there is about 1, maybe 2mm's of space between a header pipe and the PS box. will the heat from the headers affect anything in the PS box

I agree...as long as you have a good cooler, you'll be fine. If you're worried about it, you can always install a larger PS cooler, but it's not necessary.

I like to wrap all the header. It reduces engine bay heat pretty good. Race shop might have some by the foot. I would still use the cooler for the power steering. Here is what summit has

Not to highjack your thread here but my 70 has ps that was added by po. Is it necessary to have a cooler on it. If so i have auto trans cooler fittings in my raditor that i don't use, would that work
