Wheel tubs?

I am thinking of installing wheel tubs in my 72 as I repair the rust in the bed. I don't want the full size tubs like Pro-Streeters use. I'd like to have mini-tubs, but shaped like a full size tub. What do you guys think? Where would be a good place to find the tubs to weld in? What do you think of using factory wheel wells from these trucks and widen the ones in my truck? Any input would be great.

You can get new factory wheel tubs from I think NPD.I remember seeing them on Grant's Bumpside Build off.

i used to have a bagged s10 and i got my wheel tubs from fbirides.com
im not sure if thats what your going for but they also have some that arent round but kinda stock shape or you can cut your tub throughthe middle and a 3 inch strip but im not sure how wide wheel you will use its easier to add the strip to the fbi tubs just because they are smooth

Here's a couple pictures I saved from E-bay listings where the owners sectioned a stock set of wheel tubs to widen them out. I really liked the look of this over the smooth rounder aftermarket tubs.

Thanks for the pics Keith. I like that very much. I figure if Im gonna hack up my bed, I might as well widen my wheel wells to the frame. I shouldn't have gotten rid of my 70 parts truck before I decided to do this. Now, I have to go find a bed to donate the wheel wells to widen mine. Thanks again.
