Dodge wheels on Ford??
I've got a lead on a set of 16-1/2" 8 lug wheels off a Dodge(factory). Anyone know if my 72 Ford? I know lug pattern is the same but is the center hole?

I thought it was Ch3vy 8lug that had the small center register.

That's right.Redcap wrote:I thought it was Ch3vy 8lug that had the small center register.
I have used Dodge wheels before, bolt right on but why would you want 16.5s? Tire choices for those are dwindling as we speak.
Great ideas have always encounter violent opposition from mediocre minds.

The truck has a set of 9.50x16.5's that have only 700 miles on them.
I've thought about selling them with the rims/tires, but who's going to buy them? Then I'd still need 4 new tires $$$.

Hey guys,
I'm not trying to "jack" this thread, but the topic is similar to one I was gonna write, so I figured I'd just add a reply.
I have a '67 F100 with 5x5.5 lug pattern. I'm about to get (4) 20" spare stealie rims from the newer style Dodge HEMIs ('02-present?).
I'm wondering how the old style "dome-shaped" hubcaps fit on the stealies like the '67 that Fatman Fabrication has?? (I think alot of people know of this truck, so its easy to find on the 'net).
I don't know if hubcaps like that would fit on the 20" rims, but I wanted to see your thoughts...
Thanks,
Frank

They look ok, IMO. But like the factory wheels & caps like Ryans 71
