Raising the rear end
Would air shocks be my easiest solution to raising the rear of my truck about an inch? It sits about level and I want the rear to be about 1" to 1 1/2" higher than the front.

re: Raising the rear end
Air shocks are definitely NOT the right idea....those things should never have been invented, IMO. When you use them, you'll taking weight off the springs and instead putting that weight just on the shock brackets...which will rip 'em off the housing.
If you want to raise the rear end, just put a block between the spring and the rearend. Depending on your U-bolts, it might require replacing those as well with slightly-longer versions.

if you just add blocks to it they have to be blocks with a hole in one side and a bump on the other side so they fit with the springs. our springs have abump on them at the center. and they use those special blocks to key them all together. well it may not be on the springs but they are on the rest of it. i don't remeber exactly but i know the bumps are in there someplace. and you have to use the bump deals to make it work.

I actually found blocks on JCWhitney for around $35 and I noticed that they had small nubs one the side shown in the picture. I'm going to lok into those.
