drum to disk
on my 67 country squire wagon i'm not sure where to get disks for it, maybe a car near the year with the same set up?

On my 68 Mustang I used 73 Maverik front spindles for the Disc brakes, all I had to do was swap out the spindles and use the later model tie rod ends and brake lines with it. Super easy!
I just did a part search of the upper and lower ball joints on your wagon and they use the same as these.

I looked and the 1972 CONTINENTAL (I'm sure the LTD and some other will also) have Disc brakes, so you might look into if this will work the same as what I did with my Mustang.FORD

If it Looks good and Works good then it's ok by me. Everything has its issues from time to time...
